The 5th edition of Polish Express Job Fair became a huge success. With more then 35oo visitors and 62 exhibitors the event was a major one in recent months, overcoming other recruitment shows and fair organized for Polish community in the UK.

The success of this event can be attributed to a number of different factors.

First, the quality of the exhibitors, allowed this years fair to draw not only unskilled workers but also well educated and skilled workers as well.  Thus enabling the Fair to move with the economic trend, as the UK Polish Community becomes a more educated and highly skilled community itself. Secondly, our collaboration with our main sponsor, NatWest, was a significant asset to this year’s Job Fair.  Providing special promotional deals and incentives customized for our visitors was truly appreciated.  Also, additional sponsorship by Lebara Mobile was also a great help.Furthermore, the marketing activities that were done to promote this event were extensive.  Starting with a 10 week campaign within Polish Express, Laif, and Panorama publications moving from half page to full page adverts, with additional media coverage from independent publications such as the Sunday Mirror. Marketing activities also included online activities not only on our sites but also on partnering sites, as well as the launch of the Polish Express Job Fair Website - polishjobfair.co.uk.  Posters, leaflets and banners were also used within Hammersmith, in addition to, 400 distribution point throughout the Greater London Area to promote this event.  Direct Marketing was also used, with SMS messaging and e-mail blasts sent to more then 10,000 customers.
